2001

Establishment of Manas Rural Development Institute (MARDI) at Satara.

2002

Awareness programs on organic composting and soil health for local farmers began.

2003

Launch of Women Self-Help Group (SHG) movement — capacity building, micro-finance and entrepreneurship for rural women.

2004

Conducted district-level organic farming exhibitions and demonstrations; started school-level eco-awareness drives.

2005

Training on vermicompost and bio-fertilizer production; introduction of low-cost rural technology workshops.

2006

Initiated Homa Organic Farming Training programs promoting Agnihotra-based Vedic farming methods across Maharashtra.

2007

Formation of Farmers Clubs and introduction of water-saving irrigation techniques for smallholders.

2008

Started seed conservation and traditional crop revival campaign; outreach to tribal farming communities.

2009

Set up Manas Krushi Farm – model organic demonstration farm integrating dairy, compost, and horticulture units.

Started farmer exposure visits and on-field research on soil organic carbon improvement.

Expanded farmer training centres; collaboration with local government for organic certification awareness.

Initiated youth skill-development programs in organic agriculture and farm entrepreneurship.

Promoted agro-tourism at Manas Krushi Farm showcasing sustainable rural lifestyle to visitors.

Introduced natural pest-management trials and awareness on biodiversity conservation.
