About the Programme
Manas Rural Development Institute (MARDI) is situated at Manas Krushi Farm, where all training programs are conducted in a real farm environment. Practical sessions are held directly on the farm, allowing participants to gain hands-on experience in organic farming and allied activities.
The institute has developed its infrastructure by keeping in mind the need to demonstrate the effectiveness of organic farming practices using modern techniques. MARDI has established research laboratories, demonstration units for bio-fertilizers, bio-pesticides, and vermi-compost production.
Residential and canteen facilities are available for trainees, ensuring a comfortable learning experience. The campus is supported by a continuous supply of water and electricity, making it suitable for year-round training programs.
